Australian Infrastructure Developer Centralizes LAN Device Management with FortiLAN Cloud
Overview
Wagner Corporation is an Australian infrastructure development company. In 2020, the company asked Fortinet to help connect and secure a 1,000-bed-strong accommodation precinct. A key requirement for the project was that Wagner Corporation’s IT team should be able to deploy and manage hundreds of switches and access points using a single management pane.
Wagner Corporation connected its accommodation precinct using 340 FortiSwitch Ethernet switches, 845 FortiAP wireless access points, and two FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs). The IT team manages the precinct LAN using the FortiLAN Cloud solution and secures access through FortiAuthenticator identity and access management services. With Fortinet, Wagner Corporation has centralized and automated its security systems, driving considerable time and cost savings while helping to bridge the current IT skills gap.
